When buying a store, would you pay full price for antique cupboards and such used for displays?

These items have been appraised by an antique dealer. They will only be used for display purposes, not to sell.

Only if they enhanced the look of the store and merchandise being displayed on or in them and could depreciate them over a number of years on your income tax. Remember to take good care of them and maybe someday you can sell them for more than what you pay for them. And don’t refinish them, allot of people have refinished antiques only to lose most of their value because of it.
