I was at a farmers market the other day. I spotted an antique wooden barrel about the size of a watermelon. The inside was divided. one side was about 1/4 of the barrel and the other side was 3/4. Was this used as a measuring divice? I tried to look it up but couldn’t find any info. Anyone know what it is called?

I am not having any luck selling things from my house. I want to sell the house, but it has to be cleaned out first. I asked the family and they aren’t interested unless I’m giving it away. Like I said, not even auctions or estate sellers want the stuff and there’s lots of nice framed art, cut & pressed glass and china.
